Having the discipline to do little things you don’t like —-

and you can spend your life doing BIG things you do like.

Which is more important: JOURNEY OR DESTINATION?

Which is more important, the journey to take or the destination itself?

I was doing my vision board last night when I suddenly fell into deep thought. Where I could possibly be after several years? Who I am in the next 10 years? Come to think of it, I have my vision board and goals, but still I couldn’t tell—- no one could tell what will be my destination.

Some people do believe in destiny. I was actually one of them before doing this blog. It might be predetermined, but your destination is already written. If this will be the case, what’s the sense of taking a long-hard walk if you know that there is already something waiting for you at the end of the road? At this point, I started not to believe in the thing so called ‘Destiny’.

This leaves me no option but to live for my journey and goals. Actually, Destination is the goals I’ve set for myself. I will take every step to attain each goal. These steps comprises my journey—including the challenges, the joys and downfalls. Throughout the journey, there’ll be times that the journey itself will change you. It might be for better or will make you worse. If this happened, focus on where you wanted to be and your feet will bring you there. Remember that no one can predict your destinations but your journey.

As long as I’ve got goals in mind- it would make my life perfect.

Is it the Journey or the Destination?

Let’s put it this way. Imagine yourself going for a vacation. Before riding a bus, you have already decided where to go; you have plans in mind what to do when you get there. But, bear in mind that you still have to appreciate the long trip. Look around. Checkout the view outside the window and appreciate it. If you do so, you will not be disappointed when suddenly PAGASA declared a tropical typhoon in the area and you will not therefore enjoy your vacation.

Destinations and journeys are both important. They are chained. You can’t have a joyful and successful life if you don’t focus on both. Before starting your journey, set your goals, also the destination where you wanted to be. Enjoy your long walk and don’t rush. Appreciate every learnings, challenges and moments of your life. You will then appreciate whatever destination you will fall thereafter.

Have a joyful journey towards your destination! =)

You give your best not because you need to IMPRESS people.
You give your best because that’s the only way to ENJOY your work..!!

When you fall in love with your best friend you never know what to expect. It can be the start of something beautiful, or the end of a friendship if the feelings aren’t returned. Deciding whether or not to tell them that you have fallen in love with them will be the hardest decision that you ever make. No matter which choice you make you will wonder if you made the right one until you feel secure in the status in of that relationship.
